antcil in pregame warmups on our sideline would spend time catching snaps with one hand. i was amazed at his technique and hand strength.
Why is there something rather than nothing?

We didn’t have much NFL talent in this senior class. Great coaching and players playing hard got us to a bowl game, but we need a talent up grade. Even KU had a drafted player this year.

Shame on the NFL, Scott Frantz warranted a shot . Of all the marginal talent I have observed get a shot as an UDFA over my many years watching the Cat's - I know why Frantz's phone never rang and it was NOT because he had no talent.

Agreed. Shame on the NFL, however, the lesson here would be, just leave sexual orientation (gay or straight) out of the media. Just play football and go do "your thing" after, but shut up to the media.

agree. scott is very conservative politically. whether he's nfl caliber talent or not, i haven't the foggiest. but he chose to introduce a subject in his life that didn't work to his advantage with the league. that's just facing the brutal facts. i'd like to think it was his ability rather than orientation but really have no way of knowing.

This is precisely why I’m not too concerned about replacing the OL. I thought they were very underwhelming so it’s not like KState is replacing a bunch of All Conf vets.
I agree that Frantz not getting an invite is dumb but I also thought his last 2 years were extremely average, if not poor.

the best talent on that line was a non-starting sophomore, josh rivas.

Chiefs are in need of a punter after they let Dustin Colquit leave/retire. Suprised they haven't drafted on signed anyone yet to replace him. Punters are an important weapon, can change the course of a game with timely/accurate punting.
But it's kind of like a lineman with a punter, you really only notice them when they've messed up... Not when they just do their job, unfortunately.
Let's hope Antcil gets picked up by some NFL Team. He's got the talent, just needs a break...

There aren’t many open slots for punters and they usually last a long timeKSUbetcha wrote: ↑May 4th, 2020, 2:22 pmChiefs are in need of a punter after they let Dustin Colquit leave/retire.
