Dang straight. I think ~40% of the population gets it. Not sure about the other people. How in the hell we are having China manufacturer some of our most critical pharmaceuticals is insanity.ToledoCat#2 wrote: ↑March 15th, 2020, 9:32 amI hope the U.S learns a lesson from all this -- that we're better off making our own 'stuff' rather than outsourcing.

Amen. I've always wondered, with all the money spent on stupid studies (like the 14th study to show second hand smoke is harmful to your health) I'd like to see an all encompassing study about how long the U.S. could sustain itself, if the shite hits the fan and we can't import / export anything and just have to survive all on our own. By the looks of my local grocery store this morning, I don't know that we could make it even a few weeks. It's actually quite eye opening and downright frightening to say the least.ToledoCat#2 wrote: ↑March 15th, 2020, 9:32 amI hope the U.S learns a lesson from all this -- that we're better off making our own 'stuff' rather than outsourcing.
In a perfect world, everyone would choose hard work, morals and ethics over obscene money and fame. And everyone outside of Lowrents would be required to be a red blooded, card carrying Payhawk hater.

I agree, especially when it comes to things that are important/vital to our security and well being (pharmaceuticals, advanced technology, military spare parts, etc.). At least we are more energy independent than we used to be. Of course, it took the 1973 OPEC oil crisis to wake us up to that issue.ToledoCat#2 wrote: ↑March 15th, 2020, 9:32 amI hope the U.S learns a lesson from all this -- that we're better off making our own 'stuff' rather than outsourcing.

Back to football, I wrote an email to the athletics department asking if there was going to be any extensions in the ticket renewal dates. Not only are a lot of people going to be struggling to pay for tickets, there is going to be a lot of uncertainty if the football season will even be held. It would be very unfortunate for seats to be lost as fans try to deal with the consequences of lost income and future uncertainty.

Maybe they could sell this year's unsold tickets on a first come basis but then go back to this years priorities for next year. Have a deadline to buy what you had last year with the reassurance you would not lose your seats for the future. Kind of a one year moratorium. Then if the 2019 ticket holders decided not to take the seats in 2021 the 2020 buyer would be in control.

KSU's response:
At this time we don't have any information regarding changes to the 2020 Football season. At the moment we are moving ahead as normal, if for some reason that changes we will send out information. As for changes to deadlines and payment we have no plan at this time to change any of those. That being said we will continue to monitor the situation and make sure we are keeping the best interest of the fans. If you have any question feel free to give us a call at 1-800-221-227.

Athletics has ‘big’ salaries and contracts to pay. They need your money, play or no play. Pony up man, if you’re a true fan.AJcat7755 wrote: ↑March 16th, 2020, 1:07 pmKSU's response:
