Isn't the big RB from Topeka still on the roster. I know one had to quit football, but I still think there is one other -- Clyde ?????

I hope you are right. That would be awesome. Of course, part of that is assuming the people around him (especially the new starters) step up.

Early on, I was expecting a drop-off going into the 2020 season with the graduation of so many seniors. However, with Klieman playing so many underclassmen last season, I feel better about our chances.

I was always very confused by this notion bc many shared the same sentiment. It was largely based on the OL losing so much which I understand. However, that OL was not all-world or anything so it was never as big of a deal to me.

As for ST10 breaking out, I would absolutely love that. Everything is aligned for it. Good WRs, potential TE target, good young backs, 2nd year in system, and 5th overall year in the program. Nevertheless, I’m not holding my breath because I’ve thought that was coming for the past 2 years.

I'm looking forward to this season and the fact we see so many different names listed in this thread gives one reason to think we could be very good. We do have some holes to fill but I think we have quality replacements with potential to do well. I think the Juco DE from Hutch, Gainous, could be a force at DE. I hope he is on campus and preparing for spring ball...

I would think he would be here already, unless there were qualifying issues and he has to complete courses this spring. I agree, he could be a big help.

Mike McCoy was from Topeka, and quit football due to back injuries.

Clyde Price is from North Kansas City. Some thoughts that he would move to LB because of his size, and the logjam at RB, but he still listed as a RB. Seems like Ervin and Wright are still ahead of him on the depth chart, at least this year they were. Maybe he was a bit slower in picking up the playbook.

Anyone know if Price played any LB in high school? He seems like a big athletic kid. I would rather have him as a backup LB, getting playing time and providing depth for our defense than him sitting at 4th or 5th string RB. On the other hand, Coach Klieman had no trouble going 4 and 5 deep at RB last season.

My vote is for Joshua Youngblood. One could argue that he had a breakout season last year, but I can't wait to see him get a full year of returning kicks and I also expect to see him more as a focal point of the offense.

Correct. And McCoy is actually a GA coach now, or at least was last year.
