NCAA amends KU violations to include 1 more football violation...

Post by wild@nite » January 30th, 2020, 11:12 am

The original notice include five major basketball violations and two football violations. A third football violation was added today. So a friend of mine brought this up and has a good point. Since there is now a violation under Miles, shouldn't he be fired? If they don't, they are essentially saying violations aren't grounds for being fired, meaning they should have to pay Beatty the rest of his contract since that is the platform they used for not paying him.

It just keeps getting better in Clowntown. They can't get out of their own way. If any P5 school deserves to get dropped to a lower level, it's these cheating, manipulative, scumbags.

we're all waiting to see what comes of this and ku football is a minor issue at least for me. i want to see if the ncaa brings the hammer down on their cheating mbb program and hall of fame coach  bill self. that's where the major violations are coming from, not football which was noted for an analyst actually being on the field coaching, what the hell? how about coaches buying five-star players through adidas, that's what's important here, the credibility and foundation of college basketball.

Maybe, this is KU preparing to withhold severance from Les, due to his level III violations, after they fire him in the future. Brilliant move by KU(and exactly what they're doing to Beaty).

The point of the post was to display that it's an institutional control issue, not to zero in on football. It's a culture of cheating.

Maybe, but I think that would be the exit ticket for Long too. I mean, he was hired because of his SEC background and he went and hired his guy. KU already let another hire multiple coaches. LOL.... That worked out well. I just love watching those entitled cheaters get their karma. Bring the hammer NCAA. Bring it hard!

Very well could be KU self reporting to curry favor with the NCAA - “See, we are cleaning up this mess, so please give us a break.”

Wait a minute, what Penn State and Baylor did exceeds what KU has done and they are still in Power 5. The hammer needs to come down hard but dropping out of Power 5, come on man. KU sucks , I detest KU but geez unless it is unveiled they did worse things and covered them up than the Nitany Lions or Baylor Bears they don't deserve getting kicked out of Power 5. How exactly would they get dropped to a lower level anyway?

I'm talking about when 2025 rolls around. There has been talk on here of the fear of us getting left out.

I have firm belief that by the time CK gets his full 4 yr recruiting classes in and gets a firm hold on his system switch over from green to purple, we aren't going to be left out of anything. Top 10 teams don't get left out of the game.
