media members like kman's john kurtz would say: hey, it's football - it's supposed to be fun. i'll guarantee there are people defending his dumb-ass move, finding it somehow funny.
it tickled me because i wanted the dogs to win that game. they are now going bowling. mississippi is not. it's a huge rivalry game that goes back in time to when there would be mass brawls after the game. the egg bowl trophy itself was created as a means of tamping down the violence.

It reminds me of Youngblood’s penalty last week. After his, our kickoff goes to the 10 yard line instead of being downed in the end zone for a touchback and Tech gets a decent return. Now their offense starts near midfield and goes on to score a TD.

i did not see what youngblood did but the ole miss dude, i mean, he must have spent a month dreaming-up just how to pull that move off. if bill snyder was his coach, he wouldn't see the field for a generation. and, i suspect, this all-about-me move says perfectly where the ole miss program is today.

I am so tired of seeing these all about me celebrations. Perhaps that's why I am watching less football.

I told my sons he'd better find a sympathetic police officer to ride home with. Of course, tv had to replay it a million times. "Don't do this". LMAO.

This is what trophies for everybody and self esteem above discipline creates. An attention craved generation. Do I blame them? No. I blame my generation who has gotten so soft and clueless on how to teach selflessness and accountability that I wanna puke.
Sorry for the quick rant, but I deal with it more than most because if my profession. Sore spot? Yes.

I watched Youngbloods "excessive celebration" and found it hard to believe it was flagged, not really comparable to the heisted leg event IMO.
