Jalen Green Statement / apology
This is ridiculous. Not only what he did was something that shouldn't be happening in the game, his "apology" is pretty much a lie.
How can you make that hit away from the play on TV, where it can be seen over and over then make these statements.
Just total BS. And how does Herman let this happen?

He should be booked on assault charges. That isn't football.Tbonespop wrote: ↑November 13th, 2019, 11:04 pmThis is ridiculous. Not only what he did was something that shouldn't be happening in the game, his "apology" is pretty much a lie.

Herman is "a player's coach".
It was a vicious and unnecessary hit by today's standards. But less than 20 years ago, that was how the game was played. I aspired to be Jack Tatum when growing up and playing football.

Ive not seen where Herman has addressed publicly. If he hasn’t, then one has to wonder about his leadership. JG is one damn liar, and not very good at it.
I'm surprised he said anything at all. If he was just trying to break up a potential screen pass, he would have hit Gill hard in the chest. Instead, he tried to take his head off. Big difference. It wasn't a bam bam type of play. He knew what he was doing. Really wish the penalties were different for "blatant" targeting, to be more than 1 game.

Herman has never been known for his class. He was a tool bag at Houston and is still a tool bag at Texas. This is the same coach that got a 15k diamond grill while at Houston and that mocked (along with Ehlinger) Missouri QBs celebration. 0 classPurpleOnWhite wrote: ↑November 14th, 2019, 8:59 amIve not seen where Herman has addressed publicly.
