If the players like them and they play well in them, great. Frankly, I prefer silver to white any day. They don't look very bold or something that says, "wow" at first glance, but it is hard to tell.

7I agree with most sentiments. Until NIke can provide a new look, any modification will be from our existing uniforms. I would have liked a single purple stripe down the middle of the helmet, and for god-sake can we please stop emulating the Dallas Cowboys?

Personally, I don't want something vastly different. We have a brand and for a small town in the midwest, it's pretty recognizable. Why jack with it? Ohio State, Penn St, OU, Bama, Georgia, etc..... don't screw with their brand because they aren't desperate to. Just look around, the good schools don't mess with tradition once it's established. It's been established for us, now get back to winning. I get having an alternate, but I hope we never go away from the silver and purple. Do you guys seriously want to be a circus like Oregon or KU?
