The BC vs. KU

Post by seanrhoten@att.net » September 13th, 2019, 7:19 pm

I am watching this game and I didn't realize how bad this KU team is. They cant defend the run or the pass. At least the Offense isn't too offensive. But it is just the end of the first.

I'm not watching the game, but checking the game stats in the second quarter, can't say that BC is all that impressive. Their QB is 5/13 for 68 yards and their defense doesn't seem to be stopping KU's offense. The same KU offense that scored only 7 points at home against Coastal Carolina.

Carter Stanley has completed his last 10 passes and KU just took the lead 21-17 late in the first half. Stanley has also ran the ball effectively on the zone read a few times. I think the kid is determined to make up for his deficiencies from the Coastal Carolina game. KU currently has all the momentum.

BC scores a TD on the Philly special to retake the lead with 45 seconds left in the half.

Why is there a discussion or any interest whatsoever about the Payhawks on this site?
In a perfect world, everyone would choose hard work, morals and ethics over obscene money and fame. And everyone outside of Lowrents would be required to be a red blooded, card carrying Payhawk hater.

BC falls asleep and gives up an 82 yard run to Khalil Herbert followed by a 3 yard TD pass to Parchment. KU leads at the half 28-24. KU offense actually looks pretty adept.

Wasn't BC like a 20-point favorite in this game?

We do have them on our schedule. Hopefully, BC wakes up and starts playing some defense in the 2nd half. Right now, KU has the bit in their teeth.

BC's QB is not very good.
