#1 If he hurts himself, there's just one less thug on the planet left to harm an innocent person that isn't as big, strong, and powerful as he is. He CLEARLY preys on those weaker than him.Fullypersuaded wrote: ↑April 27th, 2019, 9:48 pmNot sure he'll play again but I hope he gets help and doesn't hurt himself or anyone else. Some people just trigger each other and those two should not be together, much less having more kids, but it is what it is. Sorry, but that young lady saw a big pay day coming down the road, which is why she reunited with him. If Goodell doesn't ban him for life, he'll play again. Some team will take a chance.
#2 The average individual walking the street doesn't react like a criminal when "triggered". This comment sounds like sports bar justification for his actions. I don't care what "triggers" him. His actions are reprehensible. And he obviously has a history of violence.
#3 Speculating why she reunited with him based on $$$ is questionable at best. One of my wife's friends had a husband that beat her. And she went back to him. On more than one occasion. And the dude DIDN'T have a pile of cash for her. So, ........let's not pretend to understand the psychology behind why some ladies are drawn to violent men. Not saying I feel sorry for her. The young boy, yes.
#4 Ray Rice hasn't played a down since the revelation of his VIOLENT demeanor and history. And No team will take a chance on this POS either.
Bottom line is that there is just a different set of rules if you can run fast, jump high, throw hard, put the ball in the cup, the basket, etc.
In NO other profession does the average person turn a blind eye to the violent transgressions or lengthy rap sheet of a potential employee than in professional sports. The "he deserves a 2nd/3rd/4th chance" narrative plays out in that arena too many times. And this POS thug is a multi-millionaire because of that attitude. Fans are guilty of it as well by buying tickets and supporting teams that they know are doing this.
The KC front office needs to take a loooong look in the mirror as they seem to be selling their souls to the devil to win ballgames. Just win baby! Right?
In a perfect world, everyone would choose hard work, morals and ethics over obscene money and fame. And everyone outside of Lowrents would be required to be a red blooded, card carrying Payhawk hater.
