Fumble overturned was correct. TD catch was questionable. Block in back? Only one I remember seeing was in 3rd quarter. Absolute correct call, and the backwards pass was corrected.

It's hard. College football is so lopsided it is getting ridiculous. Both semis have been a joke. I'm getting fed up with the NCAA in general. Have been fed up with ESPN for awhile.
Subtract 3 schollies down to 82 nd 16 team playoff. That'll make this thing much more interesting. Less player hoarding, more balance, and a true playoff is necessary.

It isn't necessary for them to be shown at the same time. Elbow down, then ball still possessed after is all that's needed. No rule saying it has to be simultaneous. That was shown multiple times and it was obvious it was not a fumble.

I don’t think anyone should compare this game go the Clemson/ND game. ND was completely over matched. After falling down by 28 OU has actually shows fairly well for themselves. OU would beat down ND also.
OU has really fought and also shown their offense can put up points even on Bamas D.
If OU’s had anything on D, this is a game OU likely wins.

LOL.... Who cares.
The fact is he HAD possession "after" the elbow was down. That was shown and ALL that matters. Follow closely. After elbow is down, he is down, so since he still possessed it "after" the elbow was down, it doesn't mean squat what happened "while" the elbow touched.

What I don't care about is if the cameras showed "same time". Doesn't have to. That's why there are multiple angles. It was clear to me (and the video refs and announcers) through multiple angles that the ball was still possessed when elbow went down. They got it right.csteel25 wrote: ↑December 29th, 2018, 11:47 pmIf you can't see the ball and the elbow at the same time, how would you know when the ball was loose? There was absolutely no angle that showed both at the same time. Therefore impossible to know timing.wild@nite wrote: ↑December 29th, 2018, 11:34 pm

Thats my point. Apparently you do care.
Once again Big 12 shows it cannot compete with the big boys. Alabama played thrir C game and still kicked OU butt. The standard for the big 12 is to say they saved face by having a fluke second half. Now we will get to watch a real national championship game between two good programs. Big 12 needs to go home and play some more cupcakes. Meow Meow

To be fair, it's not just the Big 12. 34 is the most points put up on Bama all year. There are maybe 2-3 teams in the nation that could compete with Bama on this stage (Georgia, Clemson, and???), especially when Saban has 4 weeks to prepare.
I mean they beat LSU 29-0 and ripped through the SEC too. Georgia finally challenged them in the title game.
Let's just be honest. It's Bama and Clemson. Nobody else is close from the PAC 12 or Big 10 either.

Oh please. Get out of here with that C game crap. OU sucked it up the entire first quarter on both sides of the ball. Bama played a team with a real offense for the second time this year and should have lost the first one had it not been for Kirby Dumbs boneheaded play call. OU put up 34 in 3 quarters and nearly 500 to a team and conference that is always trying to boast how they play D.Lionheart wrote: ↑December 30th, 2018, 12:02 amOnce again Big 12 shows it cannot compete with the big boys. The fact is the SEC is over rated as some all powerful conference. They have good teams and not so good teams just like all P5 conferences.
