In the first B12 $Ec bowl match up, the vaunted $EC defense gave up 670 yards and 45?points.
You must have misread those stats. They play D in that league and the B12 plays none and their offenses wouldn’t do squat against the mighty sec.

Right???

Will Grier's sitting out a top 25 bowl matchup? Pathetic.

And WV can win it with out him, except Holgerson keeps calling pass plays when the running game is working.

Except the WV qb has no idea how to read the defensive end on the zone read. He just hands it off regardless.

WVU just couldn’t muster enough offense with a backup qb.

ISU kind of gave one away. Had several opportunities. Some poor timeout management.
And a few calls that went against ISU didn’t help.

So now 2-2.

Iowa state got boned all night on multiple calls, yet they still had opportunities to win. The officials calls changed the outcome of the game but at the end of the day, ISU could have still won and they just didn't execute. Entertaining game regardless. I caught myself yelling at the TV a half dozen times during the game. That's normally a good sign of a competitive, entertaining game in our house. My wife doesn't like competitive football games though (or maybe it's me yelling at the TV).....

ISU-Wazzou the most entertaining game of the bowl season so far. Having worked in both Pullman and Ames in my lifetime, I had a somewhat vested interest in the game. The Clones should have won. They had nothing go their way during the whole game -- two expulsions for targeting (one legit), clanking a FG off the upright, several bad calls -- yet could have won it at the end by sending the game into overtime. The Clones had a 5 yard penalty every time they got to a crucial down. Poor discipline.
