Re: Tyler Lockett
I like hearing my alma mater mentioned on tv too as much as the next guy (especially by such an outstanding individual), but you really gotta be digging for something to complain about if that gets in your craw.

I noticed that too. Have to admit it felt like a slight but was probably something else. The thought did cross my mind that Tyler and the Lockett family could be a little upset if they feel Coach Snyder was in any way mistreated. The Lockett's loyalty to K-State could, in truth, be loyalty to Bill Snyder. Time will tell.
I found it interesting, that’s it. Wasn’t aware that was complaining.

It caught my attention. May have had something to do with Snyder, but if that's the case, it was petty. I like Lockett, but don't agree with what he did. Just tell fans where you went to college and developed as a football player ... just like the other 10 guys did. Not a huge deal, but why set yourself up for criticism?

What he did was extremely common. The intro and that back breaking catch. That was ridiculous. I've never rooted against Tyler and figured he'd eventually burn our 2ndry. Pretty good for a kid that many on Scout.com said wouldn't make it in the pros after that end zone drop against Auburn. I wish he were a Chief.

Chiefs messed up big time not drafting this local product. I think he went in third round.

He has called out the middle school in a previous game before there was any mention of Snyder retiring. No connection.

you've been hanging around here a while, huh?Tbonespop wrote: ↑December 24th, 2018, 8:40 amDon’t read into him doing that.. Sometimes players like to give props to their local grade or high schools when games are on prime time, especially around the holidays. It’s something for the kids and their school, not a slight against the college they played at. Kansas state has gotten tons of love from the last few years.
It’s funny, if a player or popular person could walk on water, some of their fans would complain they couldn’t swim.
heck of a catch. as a chiefs fan all I could say was 'dang it!' and give Wilson and Lockett credit for a heck of a play.
If you have to be persuaded, reminded, pressured, lied to, incentivized, coerced, bullied, socially shamed, guilt-tripped, threatened, punished and criminalized...you can be absolutely certain that what is being promoted is not in your best interest
