Dangit!! Hope he gets what he wants.
In a perfect world, everyone would choose hard work, morals and ethics over obscene money and fame. And everyone outside of Lowrents would be required to be a red blooded, card carrying Payhawk hater.

Can he still pull his name? Any chance he may just be getting a feel and decide to return?

Is declaring for the NFL different than the NBA where you can declare but you can come back if you don't hire an agent?
I don't think it's the same as the NBA as that was a new rule in the NBA.

Although I think if he didn't hire an agent, he could come back in theory, but I don't think I have ever seen that happen in football.

He was a strong chance to go even if the staff didn't change. The new staff couldn't convince him to stay. I wouldn't put any hope that he doesn't stay in the draft. RBs take a lot of wear and tear and if they have a chance to make $$, they would be wise to take it while their body is still strong. Good decision for Barnes, just not for K-State.

I think everyone knew Alex Barnes would forego playing another year in college. As for Mike McCoy, I have heard all along that his injury precludes him from playing football in the future. Was he practicing all this time, or suiting up?

Well I guess you can offer likely immediate playing time.

Any real good rbs in the jucos we’re targeting or that might not be committed that we could/should target?

Supposedly Garden City had two 1000 yard rushers? Are they both committed?
Charles West (1387 yards) - I don't believe he has committed yet, Offers from Delaware St and So Miss if Rivals is correct
Dedrick Mill (1358 yards) - Verbal with Nebraska

Good for Alex. Wish him the best. He has good vision, but not much explosiveness. I see round 6-7 and dont see that increasing because of the lack of explosiveness. JMO

Thanks

I watched some of that juco national championship. Neither team could muster much on offense, but if but running for over 1300 is nothing to sneeze at and I a good juco conference. I think they’d be worth taking a shot at.

3rd rounder, stamp it. He’ll make good jack, regardless of his bollocking ability. He’s the #1 RB in the B12 and has great vision and burst. Not elite speed, but adequate. Can catch the ball. Solid 3rd round draft pick. Wish him well!

Along with Risner, the draft streak continues.

I think Alex will have to work his way up to the third round. RB just isn't valued as much as it used to be. Hope it works out for him.
