Before Littrell left UNC for UNT, he coached in their bowl game. Gene Taylor isn't going to pull the "you can't coach in your bowl game" argument that has ended many of coaching deals.

All signs point to the deal in the final details. Can it still be screwed up and both sides don't meet all the demands? Sure, but right now, it looks like they are just hammering out the remaining details and seeing if they can agree.

K-State will probably lose Garber. But that has more to do with him being in Lawrence, and buzz around that program, then it does about K-State.
Sorry, but remind me, who again is Garber?
I assume a recruit? But I really haven’t kept up with this years verbal commits.

Weiser had nothing to do with hiring Prince in 2005. That was all Wefald and his buddy Krause.

So I take it he’s fairly highly touted recruit, or at least one that’s highly touted in Kansas?

7th highest in KS, but he is also friends with a top 100 in the nation player from the 2020 class out of the same highschool.

Well being he’s from Lawrence I could see him flipping with the hatter now coach. Do we know if he has any ties to either school? Family that attended either one or grew up a fan of one over the other?

agree. tim left k-state a couple years later; many thought because bob krause had become way too influential with athletics. wefald always said it was a bad mistake on his part to let tim get away. he was a pretty solid a.d. back then. at the time, weiser wanted to hire jim leavitt but for whatever reason it didn't work out. snyder was not a fan of prince either because, for one thing, he had no direct ties to the university. venables was also a candidate back then, 2005. :|
