Skylar Thompson in the spread

Post by Hungryguy75 » November 28th, 2018, 5:32 pm

Anyone think S-Thompson would leave if Bill stays? He could be a great free agent basically for the fact he graduates in the spring. Could basically go anywhere and play next year.

Also, I feel Thompson would really thrive in a spread offense.

Hope he stays but in a more fun/complete offense.

Don't we still have Hunter Rison for next year?

He will stay. Yes Rison can play next year.

I would also throw in the increased development from the younger WRs of Knowles, Gill and Taylor and a healthy Landry Weber along with the addition or Rison. And the return of TE Nick Lenners, who was going to be featured in the offense more prior to getting injured. That should give Thompson and the staff, a variety of options to line up and throw to.

However, a serious issue at RB with no Silmon, Warmack and McCoy seemingly done with football (even more if Barnes leaves) and losing Risner on the O-Line will need to be replaced.

Yeah, I think our WR situation looks better for next season than it did this season. RB is definitely an area of concern. Hopefully Barnes returns and we recruit a couple good RBs for depth. OL, even without Risner and Beecham, looks fine for next season.

If Snyder decides to return for next season, the team should be in pretty good shape at most positions. Our coordinators should hopefully improve with a year of experience under their belts. Barring key injuries or transfers, I think we will see an improved team. JMO.

Doesn’t Skyler have 2 years of eligibility left?

But is available to transfer this spring if he wants to without having to sit out. Missouri needs a new qb next year is what scares me

I’m sure he’d love to spend another season with The Legend.

I thought it was pretty much established that he is leaving if Bill stays?
