This is huge. We all know CK loves TEs and this kid is projected to play in the NFL.

guy looks like a damn monster for a tight end. gosh, if we miss this next season what a loss it will be with all the senior talent.
Why is there something rather than nothing?
I'm really getting interested in Theo Grabill. On his twitter is video of him running a 4.48 laser-timed 40. He's apparently working with Maurice Green. 6'3", 200+ lbs, seems to catch everything thrown his way and looks to be working his tail off. I'm thinking he's a better Dalton Schoen and I liked Dalton a lot.

Does he want to play at K-State, if so I think we should get him. Sounds like our kind of guy.ksuee wrote: ↑April 25th, 2020, 9:02 pmI'm really getting interested in Theo Grabill. Is it just me.. or has the recruiting been pretty dead for KSU since the Covid stuff all came about? Seems like we've had 2 commits since then(one being a transfer). Just seems like this staff was on a roll before this all hit, and now a lot of commitments are going elsewhere.

I think this just further proves what the coaches often mention is they really need to get kids on campus and show them first-hand how great KSU is, but considering they haven't been able to get kids to campus, it has really slowed down. I know the coaches have said they have spent huge amounts of time with recruiting since the shutdown, but I suppose kids want to see the campus firsthand before they commit. I know the WR from Nebraska, he had to cancel two trips to Manhattan, and then recently committed to Iowa. Not sure if that is a solid commitment or not, but our coaches didn't get a chance to show him Manhattan first-hand, so it makes it tougher.
I'm sure if they can get the campus open, at least to the point of allowing visits, hopefully recruiting will open up again.

A friend of mine from NE Oklahoma called me yesterday with news that KSU offered a scholarship to a coming junior from southeast, KS. The kid is 6'5" and weighs more than 230 pounds as a soph. The Cats are supposedly recruiting him to be a tight end/fullback. My friend reports that the youngster was thrilled to accept the KSU offer of a full scholly. My source tells me the kid has a cousin who has been at ISU on a full ride for the past 2 years. I'll not list the kid's name until I hear something from the KSU staff of his recruitment. Braet and the O-line coach were point men on this recruit.
If it proves to be true, I think it speaks a lot about how hard the current staff is targeting Kansas players out as far as 2 years, despite the CV crisis.
