So much for Kaleb Purdy. He is committing Friday and Ryan Wallace, the KSU recruiting expert, flipped his pick to KU.

Mudia Reuben now has a prediction to Stanford.

Greg Gaines verbally committed to ISU as expected.

I heard Chas Nimrod was lock to commit to us this week, but decided to postpone things after hearing of the realignment news.

I hope the realignment news doesn't affect our recruiting too much. This has to be very frustrating for our coaching staffs.

Jaren Kanak is announcing his commitment at 7pm tonight. My guess, Clemson.

Yes. It will be Clemson. But I'd bet he doesn't finish his collegiate career at Clemson. He will transfer like everyone else once he realizes he's watching from the sidelines next year. Everyone loves the big names, and HOPE they are soooo good that they play immediately. But, after reality sets in and the fancy big name wears off, they're ready to just go somewhere they can see the field.

He did visit KSU last week so at least they gave it one last shot.

Mudia Reuben released his updated top 5 today: Vandy, KSU, KU, Arkansas State, Stanford

I haven't been real impressed with the staffs recruiting of the 2022 class, but if Kanak chooses Clemson, then that's definitely not on the Kstate staff. Not much more they could have done IMO.

This kid needs to ignore the "cool factor" and go where he is the best fit for his talents. If Clemson is that school, then by all means, go there and give it your best shot.

I don't really know much about him or this talents. I just saw him interviewed one time. Good luck to him in whatever he decides. Same with all of our other recruits.
