Re: Recruiting Thread
Thanks for the Will Geary name. Loved how he played. Didn't remember his family was Squawks. Makes it sweeter.

Questions for you all.
Why is no one in the media talking about Navarro Schunke when they talk about all the other signed OL's? I know he is a walk on and they never talk about them, but he might be the biggest steal for K-State as he is a 4*, walk on. Also, how do you get to be a 5 time state champion? Do they include 8th grade in their high schools?

schunke is not a media unknown. i've read plenty about him. but i do believe he doesn't get quite as much ink because he's a preferred walk-on for some reason. after all he is a 4* who had lots of offers. it is odd.PurpleWildcat wrote: ↑February 28th, 2024, 2:03 pmQuestions for you all.

as to 5X state champion, megan mahoney was south dakota 5X wbb all-stater. yep, from the 8th grade on. i think she's the only girl to have done that.

I am going to head to Hutch this evening and watch Lincoln Cure play hoops for the Goodland Cowboys. Will also get to see Jackson Voth from Cheney, one of our walk-ons in the game before Cure's. Are the coaches able to be out and about now, wondering if Coach Klieman or any of the coaches will be there to watch Cure?

That is the first place I saw Jordy Nelson play any sport. He was a junior, I think, and his brother was a senior. Jordy could jump a little bit.

A person can be a socialist in a capitalist society, but a person is not allowed to be a capitalist in a socialist society.

Maybe that is a sign that Linkon Cure will be joining the 'Cats. I thought Brame was an Oregon lean all along.

Even though Brandon Clark was a former KSU player the Cats haven’t had much luck with the Derby kids.
