opcatzen: makes me wonder if pulling kids away from PAC16 teams will be 'that' hard given they've shut down the current season.

why not KSU?

Recruiting appears to have slowed down a lot. Seemed like the class was getting close to being done anyways, but with the announcement of "No loss of Eligibility" for this season, that may have really clamped down on making the incoming class any bigger. Plus there should be a surplus of transfers that KSU could look at. All in all, a good reason to be pretty choosy moving forward with the 2021 class.

In the past we just planned on losing most of these battles with good programs. That won't be the case going forward.

LSU offered Langlois. Can KSU keep him from flipping to LSU? The kid is a beast! Would like to see him in purple and silver.

The draw of the home state/school is strong. We just saw NU slow play James Carnie and not offer the local Nebraska player until very recently, and a few days later he choose NU over teams that had been recruiting him for a long while even though they already had a couple of TEs already in the class.

The question is does Langlois want to be LSU's fall back option where he is going to be buried on the depth chart and possibly over recruited in years to come because he was not their first choice, or does he want to go somewhere where he was a priority and will have a better chance to start earlier?
