I’m pretty sure that on 1350am they said that sonn and jojo Wilson not signing was because of grades.
Also heard that Panzer took a gray shirt because he was injured this year and needs time to heal. That way his clock on college doesn't start right away. I'm wondering if Shields could be the same, or have some other deal because I think one if his parents works for KSU.
They are both "Blue Shirting", which I had never heard that before until today listening to the GoPowercat podcast.

K-State fans have to learn to not take it negatively when an athlete from the Jayhawk Juco Conference chooses to go elsewhere. K-State's only advantage in recruiting them is geography. Most of these youngsters are NOT Kansas natives.

Blue shirting means the athlete will count against the next (2021) class. The athlete will go on scholarship the first day they participate in fall practice. They are not able to receive financial aid from the athletic department until then.

Unlike grayshirts, a blueshirt is able to enroll and participate in team events in the fall. This allows programs to get the best of both worlds: FBS schools can delay a scholarship for the following year, allowing them to over-sign beyond the 25-scholarship limit, and get the use of a prospect immediately rather than waiting until the following spring.

Shields and Felix are going blue shirts, Panzer is going gray shirt. So the 3 won't count in the 25 list. That still leaves 2 more to be able to sign, which is currently reserved for Sonn and Wilson if they stay committed.

Add another, Butler 6'4", 250lb WR/TE

Have to think this is probably a walk on. Gives the team another option at the H Back spot to lead block, or line up at TE and catch passes.

Highlight film indicates that Hillard is a good blocker and understands blocking angles. He might be coachable as he is a 4.0 student.

Has K-State burned all their ties to Garden City Juco? I see that their All-American stud linebacker Krishon Merriweather has decided to sign with Texas Tech. He would have been a nice pickup for us. :(

Dang, I see that Tech also signed the huge o-lineman from Coffeyville, Ethan Carde. Kid is 6'8" and 325 lbs. He'll have 3 years of eligibility left.
GCCC hired a new coach from Arizona and he brought in his staff. All the former KSU guys are gone. They have sent a lot of guys to SEC country over the last few years.
