Growing up as a kid Rice was a power in the old Southwest Conference but hard time hit in the early to mid 60's but they are now getting better and I will pull for them in the game with Kansas. They played Texas A&M a pretty good game.In fact I think they ended up with more total yardage than the Aggies

I always cheer for the conference in their out of conference games because it makes the league look better, especially when we beat them
