UGH! But we seniors on the East Coast can't do these late games! I get that some matchups need to fill those time slots but why not leave them for the West Coast schools?DeereCatFan wrote: ↑October 1st, 2024, 5:40 amI have no real problem with them playing late, it's just a matter of pacing myself. That's a long day of beer drinking .

I agree, the complaining among fans is getting silly. We get national TV exposure instead of ESPN+. If we want to make a run at anything people need to see us play and if we can't handle the night games we don't deserve to be in the discussion.

I was literally just getting ready to post the upside to these non-traditional game times is that it puts us on the major network platforms. With the exception of UT-Martin and including CU, K-State has played every game this season on ESPN or FOX rather than ESPN+ and FS1.TellurideCatbacker wrote: ↑October 1st, 2024, 1:56 pmI agree, the complaining among fans is getting silly. I imagine part of this is that college football fans around the country want to see Avery play, with all of the hype he was given coming into the season.

I have a better feeling about going into Boulder to get a win than I did against BYU in Provo. It's not going to be easy by any measurement. But if both our lines Off & Def and punch Colorado in the mouth, I believe we can win in the trenches & come out with the win. I believe KSU can run on the Buffaloes. If we get DJ, Avery, and Edwards going early on the ground and get the lead, we can take control of the game. Got to mix in some play action and shorter slants & hitches to throw their Def off. Once their safeties are committed to stopping the run, throw in some deeper routes to Brown or Garber. AJ needs to be able to improvise, RPO stuff, roll outs & pick up some yardage when no one is open.

the fact(s) k-state is playing on a national platform being a very good thing, and olds not caring for the hour of play, does not mean either negates the other. both can be true.

I don't see all the complaining you seem to be aware of. There are lots of quiet fans on the East Coast whom I dare say will not watch the second half (live) when the game ends close to 2AM. Let's see how this plays out in TV audience and ratings.stlcatfan wrote: ↑October 1st, 2024, 2:05 pmI was literally just getting ready to post the upside to these non-traditional game times is that it puts us on the major network platforms.
