HUTCHINSON, Kan. (KAKE) - The Hutchinson Community College football team retained its No. 1 national ranking despite receiving quite a scare from Iowa Central on Saturday at Gowans Stadium.
The Blue Dragons trailed the Tritons 30-16 with 6:19 to play in the fourth quarter, scored two touchdowns to force overtime and sophomore Nestus Burger booted a game-winning 36-yard field goal to give Hutchinson a 33-30 victory on Saturday.

They beat Ellsworth Community College 99-0 Saturday in Hutchinson. According to the NCJAA Records Book, this ties the all-time record for a game against a non-NCJAA team when Cisco College beat Rezolution Prep.
