If the Tulane win was a "culture-win," I'd classify the BYU loss as a "non-culture loss."
We lost the BYU game because of fumbles, interceptions, silly-penalties, and let-downs on defense. Definitely not KSU culture.

It has been our culture to lose 1 or 2 games each year that we expected to win. I read Klieman's teams never have started 4-0. I really think the crowd and mistakes rattled the Cats. This team needs to add the toughness of past teams, what would Bishop or Klien have done if they were our quarterback?ToledoCat#3 wrote: ↑September 22nd, 2024, 10:34 pmIf the Tulane win was a "culture-win," I'd classify the BYU loss as a "non-culture loss."

It was there in the 90's too; I remember the 'ULTIMATE ANGUISH/PAIN', when the D had A&M in 3rd and 39 in OT, to lose a shot at the NC! No emotional let down, in football, will top that; this was just a minor setback...SCKSCat wrote: ↑September 23rd, 2024, 6:33 amIt has been our culture to lose 1 or 2 games each year that we expected to win. That was the most crushing moment of my ksu fan life, still can't believe how that all went down- from the Bishop fumble trying to kill the clock, to the hail mary caught at the aTm one at the end of regulation, to the losing td in ot...farrout10 wrote: ↑September 23rd, 2024, 10:14 amIt was there in the 90's too; I remember the 'ULTIMATE ANGUISH/PAIN', when the D had A&M in 3rd and 39 in OT, to lose a shot at the NC!
