Re: big 12 games ...
K-State vs Ok State should be an ESPN Gameday candidate if both take care of business this weekend. However, that's not likely since Alabama vs. Georgia is the same weekend.

Mike Gundy on having to play Utah and Kansas State back to back:
“The commissioner is my buddy, but he doesn’t do the scheduling, so I’ve sent the wrong guy pecans for Christmas. I should’ve sent the scheduling guy pecans”
========
Coach Gundy is a joy.

Houston at Cincinnati - this is a yawner match important only to the principals
Kansas at West Virginia - two troubled programs, one resets
Arkansas St at Iowa St - creampuff with vanilla frosting
Arizona St at Texas Tech - league's surprise outfit v. friday night joey, but he's at home
Utah at Oklahoma St - this could be a UofA like welcoming, or not
Tcu at SMU - frogs seem more talented
K-State at BYU - cougs don't lose at home under the lights, but cats are nocturnal by nature
Baylor at Colorado - have not seen bears play but have primetime.

Agree on all but OSU, if Rising is playing. With Rising, Utah by 10. Without Rising, OSU by 10. Yes, I think he makes that much difference.

wild, to be fair, i'm basing my oSu prediction on what i saw from uofa friday in 'the bill.' whether oSu can duplicate that in the stands and on the field will make it an interesting watch.

Okie Lite will take down the snob hill to the West. Reality to set in for them.

I sure hope so, Utah reminds me of us a lot. But without the speed.. I would like to see the pokes handle things..epicsnyder wrote: ↑September 17th, 2024, 3:40 pmOkie Lite will take down the snob hill to the West. Reality to set in for them.

I hope so too, but Okie State is struggling running the football. That is a concern that I can't overlook. Maybe they get it going this week.Ksuminnesotacat wrote: ↑September 17th, 2024, 5:17 pmI sure hope so, Utah reminds me of us a lot. But without the speed..
