Utah is not the juggernaut we were led to believe. With a back up QB, I mean. They had a lot of recruits at that game, too.
Arizona under Coach Brennan is going to be solid going forward.
BYU is riding high right now. One more loss by Baylor and I think Aranda is gone.
Colorado is finding their footing. I thought UCF would win that one.
Iowa State is looking solid, and Houston, I think, is slowly getting better.
I don't even know what to say about TCU and KU.
Cinci has a pretty good offense. So does Tech. Defense though?

Can you imagine what kind of hype there will for the Colorado football game if they win next week. TV mogals will push this matchup

1. uofa puts it to #10 uu 23-10 - the school yard bully gets his comeuppance in the home crib;
2. txt 44-cincy 41 in lubbock - a throw around similar to old time b12 games when coach leach was there;
3. #18 iowa state 20 houston 0 - iowa state like ole miss is benefiting from a charmin ultra schedule;
4. tcu 38 ku 27 - i'm not sure i've witnessed a team so hyped fall so far so quickly as the squawks - even red clown suit unies didn't help;
5. cu 48 ucf 21 - this one surprised me in orlando as primetime may be putting a solid team together for cats in two weeks;
6. #22 byu 34, baylor 28 - cougs start the year 5-0 for the first time in forever.

what in the world, sonny? his seat at tcu is going to be absolutely on fire after losing that one. but give it up to houston and new coach willie fritz. we all knew he'd make them better following dana. and many believe willie will turn the cougars into a contender down the road. i'm in that camp as well. his credentials are superior to the ku lance, who himself faces an important test tonight in the desert.
