Even when K-State was known as Futility U, they had better WRs than we have now.
Our WR have not been very good (few exceptions) since Andre Coleman was fired after 2018. Getting open seems to be really difficult for WR in the KK offense at K-State.

Maybe Booby Boucher could have opened up a can.

Well at least we know Avery won't be transferring out as he's not a good enough passer at this point to get the big time schools to go after him.

Will be interesting to see how Blake Barnett develops. I hear he is a pretty mobile QB as well. If he has a little more pro worthy arm he may be challenging Avery for the starting role come 2026.

To be fair there were a ton of dropped balls. Tonight….

True. But those two turnovers were on him. He's still a huge threat due to his mobility but I'm just not seeing him playing beyond college at this point. Maybe he develops that over the next year or two but he might not either.

I believe the staff is making him do unnatural things. He is a mobile Qb they are so afraid of him getting hurt they are training him to be a damn pocket passer….. morons….

The weakest... weakest... weakest performance in Klieman's tenure. #13 getting beat down like this?
I love Klieman, but his teams don't seem to handle being the frontrunner worth a damn. I won't be surprised if we win by 20 next week, which iwill be more frustrating as heck. Tonight's loss goes back to 2nd and 5, up 3-0, while running it down their throat, and we decide to get fancy, instead of just hammering it in. We settled for a fg and gave them confidence. All downhill from there. I was yelling at the TV! Just keep pounding it. We gave them life and, well.... you know the rest.
