NFL Cats

Post by spot2180 » July 24th, 2024, 7:20 am

I have been watching big KSTate games from the past on Youtube lately, There were a lot of reminder about how many great players have passed through MHK. And a notification popped up in my Facebook feed. I didn't want to go any deeper than page one to find a similar thread, so why not start a new one? So anytime you see news on the former Cats, post it.

According to Exit 313 on X, Duke Shelley re-signs with the Vikings, so that makes two former Cats on that team. Dalton Risener is there with him.

NEWS: The Cleveland Browns hosted TE Briley Moore for a workout today, per source.

Moore has spent the past two seasons with the DC Defenders, becoming a valuable #UFL contributor on and off the field for DC.

The fact that the Chiefs did not go out and get DBs with Sneed being traded, I think could be a compliment to Ekow Boye Doe. Coach Spags activated him for several late games and he played Special Teams. I have not read or heard much about him in this camp.

Mr Byron Pringle keeps getting a NFL paycheck. The man is versatile.

Man, I didn't know that Cody Whitehair was a Raider. Guess I'll have to hate on them for only two games a year now... ;-)

Duece Vaughn's future with Dallas is reported to be very shaky.
McCarthy doesn't like him. Last year Vaughn tried to block a bull rushing D lineman, Vaughn and the lineman flattened Vaughn and put a nasty hit on DaK. Things have been down hill since for Duece.

Boye-Doe is getting lots of playing time in the Chiefs -Jags game. Same for Felix.

4. Cooper Beebe's debut gets an A grade.

After getting the majority of the work playing at center, it's safe to put an A grade on the debut from Cooper Beebe. His snaps were consistent, his protection was solid and the lack of interior pressure from the Rams' young group of defensive tackles was noticeable. Brock Hoffman has had a strong camp and still holds a firm lead in the battle at center, and while Beebe's debut was not perfect, he showed on Sunday that he is steadily getting better with every rep that he takes.
