Another 9 or 10-win season would be great. I think Houston might be a bit low. I don't know their schedule and how well they have recruited for this class, but (similar to UCF) they now have a good coach, a rich recruiting area close to their campus, and membership in a power conference (which was probably holding them back to some extent being in a G5 conference). It should be a fun and competitive Big 12 Conference, going forward.

Always hoping for perfect season, but 9 wins would be excellent, and 8 wins good in my book.

Question is, will 9 wins make the playoff? I suppose it would matter who and when the losses came

Whoever wins the Big 12 will get an automatic playoff spot. The Conference should get at least one to two more teams in IMO.

I would guess top 5 would be KSU, Utah, Arizona, KU, and Oklahoma State. KU losing their OC is huge so we'll see how much that effects their offense. Last season I think the subpar receiver play and some of Will Howard's decision making when he'd force passes in where he shouldn't really hurt at times. If Avery Johnson can stay healthy and not force things, and the team can stay healthy, I see ksu winning 10 games.

As long as the offensive line comes together nicely; I trust Connor Riley to rebuild the KSU O-line. There are reportedly some really good pieces to plug into the holes left by the graduating Senior O-linemen. Then, 2024 will be an outstanding season for the Cats.

The Los Angeles #Rams are expected to hire Kansas State’s Chili Davis as an assistant special teams coach, sources tell

.

Before Kansas State, Davis was special teams coordinator at Florida A&M and worked at places like University of Washington.
