i know little about these youngsters. but o'lineman generally need a red shirt year to get their bodies up to standard for that position.
Hopefully, some of them are here now, getting a head start with winter conditioning and spring practices.
Any news on Camden Beebe?

I haven't heard anything. When I looked him up on the roster, it said that he weighs 353 lbs. And that's after being on the team for a full season with college level conditioning, diet, weight lifting, etc. I wonder if the staff will try to bring his weight down a little bit, or maybe that is his ideal weight. I'm sure he has put on a lot of muscle since coming to K-State. His measurables (6'3, 353 lbs.) remind me more of a nose guard.

Hopefully, out of his brother's shadow, Little Beebe makes some noise of his own in a good way.

I think the only one of the freshman Olineman that is already on campus is Ryan Howard. Hawkins and Massey are not, I know Massey is trying to win a state basketball title at Lyndon. Not sure if Hawkins is playing hoops or not, I know he used to be a big basketball player. I also saw yesterday that the "walk-on" lineman we got from South Dakota won his 5th state wrestling championship on Saturday, only kid in SD to ever win 5 titles.

That's huge for Howard that he is already on campus, learning the system and getting in the weight room. That will probably give him a leg up on Hawkins and Massey going into the fall. We'll see I guess. I assume the other guys will be on campus by this summer.

BetOnline has released odds for which 12 teams from the Power 4 conferences will qualify for the 12-team CFP. There are 33 teams on the list and any team not listed has worse than 25/1 odds. Next to each team is also the percentage likelihood of them making the playoffs.

I don't mind K-State being the "favorite" to win the Big 12 Conference Title.

I hate to admit it, but KU may be a bit underrated in this CFB Playoff ranking at the moment.

In my estimation, the Big 12 will get in at least two, possibly three Big 12 members into the "12-Team" CFB Playoff in the 2024-2025 season.

I would love to see that, but I think we will see a 3 loss team from the SEC get picked before a 2 loss Big 12 team. They will claim it is because they are from the 'toughest conference in football' but Big 12 fans will know that isn't true.

The Big 12 is poised to be the toughest conference from top to bottom in both football and basketball next year.

Exactly right, spot. SEC proponents use the strength of Alabama and Georgia to say their conference is the toughest. That maybe true at the top, but beyond those two heavyweights, I just don't see it. Heck, TTech (middle of the pack Big 12) demolished Lane Kiffin & co. a few years ago and it took Arky two or three OTs to get past 6-6 KU that same season.

Of course they only schedule eight conference games because they just have to play that mid-season patsy due to their "tough" schedule.
