The reason Loser Leipold is having a horrible year is that he lost the guy who was 95 percent responsible for his moderate success at KU. Loser’s defenses and ST’s at KU have always been pretty bad. We’ve given up a lot of points since Loser’s been here. The only reason we had reasonably good years the last 2 years is that Andy Kotelnicki’s offensive schemes and creative play calling made us a high scoring dangerous team on offense that could outscore the opposition.

Andy leaves and Loser hires a loser OC who was fired by Baylor. We have incredible talent coming back on offense, and yet all of a sudden all of the creativity in scheme and play calling is gone and we can’t score out of the 20’s against ANYONE except juco equivalent Lindenwood.

It’s obvious to any idiot that Loser Leipold has no ability to scheme or play call on offense or to hire anyone who can. He lucked into getting a young Kotelnicki and keeping him for a long time.

Loser has no clue how to run an offense. He was a stooge listening in on the headset while AK masterminded us to wins by out scoring opponents , overcoming all of our problems on defense and ST’s.

Loser Leipold is a fraud. We’ve given him a contract that is far above his ability level.

Those are the facts. Read’em and weep.

Goff should just tell the City of Lawrence that he needs $250 million for a homeless shelter/ bus terminal….commission would approve it unanimously next Tuesday.

Dr Girod, is seriously dropping hints Lawrence should fund Goff's Goof.

local governments do not have that kind of jack available. remember rock chalk park was done through a developer lease arrangement with city support because ku could not fund it themselves. maybe goff will find another for his football booth.

KU and the Chiefs have yet to sign a contract allowing the Jayhawks to play at Arrowhead.

“It’s complex,” KU Athletics spokesperson Daniel Berk said.

Berk wouldn’t go into detail about what those complexities are, except to say insurance coverage is one of them.
---
However complex the contract with the Chiefs might be, the one with Sporting is brief and simple. The “Letter of Agreement” is only four pages long. KU paid Sporting $100,000 in rent and another $150,000 for game day operations, according to the deal obtained through the open records request.

Sporting KC retained all parking and concession revenue and got 20% of KU merchandise revenue sold at the park. KU was also obligated to reimburse Sporting for “reasonable” and “documented” expenses to repair any damage to the field.

I'm not a KU fan, but Lance is a pretty dang good coach and KU is more than lucky to have him. A lot went right for them last year and this season has seen not much go right, losing three close games. It would be great if he left and for them to start over or hire another guy like Gil or Weis.

KU should just stick with the games at the Sporting KC park. Sporting is not even charging them that much & KU will be lucky to fill up half of Arrowhead staring at numerous additional losses in 2024.
