A revealing article on Will in the Columbus Dispatch last week, Sept. 5th; he wasn't as enthralled with his treatment at KSU, as we tend to see portrayed. He was pretty frustrated with the coaching staff for taking his red shirt away for the Texas game, back when, and especially for what he viewed as a betrayal, with what they were telling him, and then the recruitment of Martinez.

All that could be legitimate complaints. For Will, his success has something to do with how he lets it bother him. Overall, while he was here he was all team, and not all Will. To this point in time, I hold his character in high regard.farrout10 wrote: ↑September 8th, 2024, 9:32 amA revealing article on Will in the Columbus Dispatch last week, Sept. 5th; he wasn't as enthralled with his treatment at KSU, as we tend to see portrayed. I agree totally that they are legitimate complaints and agree that his ability to deal with it was nothing but admirable. Just saying, that he wasn't as enamored with everything in the program as is often portrayed on the social media.

I'm sure he wasn't all that enamored, but he handled it like few would do when faced with adversity. That is why I like him. Truly a class act and why I wish him nothing but the best in life. He has a other really good game yesterday and has walked into a great situation. He deserves it.

I tell you what, what is it with Ohio State people????? Everything Will has done is under a microscope. Every pass. every run is scrutinized by those people. Fact is he has been close to lights out. Give him his due praise and move onto the next game. I find them less likable all the time with their entitled criticisms. We as KSU fans appreciate good play and
don''t criticize good play. Man, are they entitled SOB's.

How can he beef about Martinez?? Show me a program that is not trying to recruit a perceived better player over anyone on the roster? He ended up being better than a hobbled Martinez, If he gets to the pro's does he think they are not going to try and draft over him as well. One bad game in Columbus and he could easily be riding the pines, there are plenty of 5 stars competing for his starting spot.farrout10 wrote: ↑September 8th, 2024, 9:32 amA revealing article on Will in the Columbus Dispatch last week, Sept. 5th; he wasn't as enthralled with his treatment at KSU, as we tend to see portrayed. Yes, there was 4 5*s vying for his job but he was the best. choice with his experience and consistency. I do not think one game will bring " him down" because he looks like the perfect fit for that program.wazucat wrote: ↑September 10th, 2024, 3:53 pmHow can he beef about Martinez?? Like Will wish him nothing but the best. I always supported him and think hes a good guy. No idea what he said or his disgruntlement, but this crap is going to happen anywhere. Always going to be recruited over. Always. He may lose his current gig, I hope not. But The Arrogant State u has the best talent money can buy just waiting in the wings.
Getting a little sick of the demands of college athletes. Want paid, got paid. Wanted free transferring, you got it no restrictions. Celebrations seems to be getting more and more bold. Do what you want. Don't want a school to recruit any better athletes over you, well tough shit. Get thicker skin, you're making good coin. Quit bitchin.
Just keep ruining it for me.

Oh, he's going to get pulled for one of their many blue chip dudes at the position. He is there to hold serve. That's it. When he stumbles, and he is going to stumble, and one their shiny new pennies comes in and lights it up, that is when the "QB controversy" commences and he'll be watching helmet in hand. I hope it doesn't happen. Love the kid. He was all class when he was here. And love everything he did for us. But the reason he's under the scope there is the stable of 5* dudes they have that most will want on the field as soon as Will slips even a little bit. Bes of luck to him and hope I'm wrong. He's a class act.privyet wrote: ↑September 10th, 2024, 4:43 pmYes, there was 4 5*s vying for his job but he was the best. choice with his experience and consistency. In a perfect world, everyone would choose hard work, morals and ethics over obscene money and fame. And everyone outside of Lowrents would be required to be a red blooded, card carrying Payhawk hater.
