Will and Adrian are parallel in their efforts to get to the NFL.
Both transferred after their senior years at their home schools.
AD did better at KSU than at NU.
Will did pretty good delivering a big 12 championship at KSU what will happen at OSU? Championship to me is not better but it HAS to be for will to SEEM like he is more ready for the NFL....Can stay the same or somewhat better but a far way down if he does not win the BIG 10 Championship...
Tough scenario for Will
Let's all wish him well as he gave us all he had at KSU for many years.
Thank you Will Howard.

will howard did a fine job here. a similar result in c'bus will mean a b10 championship and cfp slot, maybe a natty. it all depends on surrounding talent. i have an ultima karma game of will v. avery in the cfp. as for the nfl, to my eye, howard does not have the arm or speed of skylar thompson. i'd take skylar if given a choice between them for an incoming freshman. of course, avery johnson holds the promise of surpassing both during his term here. starts shortly, thankfully.

I thought so too. He looked healthy and crisp. The Josh Allen comparisons started when he took off for about 15 yards.

I had to laugh a bit, though, when the announces proclaimed that 10 of the 11 Ohio State defensive starters will get drafted. Akron was moving the ball decently against all those first rounders.

Still not impressed by Ohio State's O line. I think that will be their offense's biggest weakness. Akron just isn't that good, and Will, from what I saw, really wasn't hold the ball that long on passes. And that freshman receiver they have is going to be pretty good.

Boy is Will a lucky guy with those WR"s, with one of them probably a 1st round pick next year (forgot his name) , but, I can see why that true freshman is so heralded, and he has said that he and Will already have a good connection.

Will was terrific, except for one bone-headed play, and that is the type of thing he gets remembered for (Okie State last year). At least for his sake yesterday, it was one play and lights out from there on!

Yes, he looks like he is going to elevate his game....Kid has tons of talent that is going to show this year. His leadership and enthusiasm are next level. I thought his years at KSU really prepared him well for the incredible pressure and scrutiny he will face this year from the most demanding fanbase in football.

Interesting note on "pro football focus". WH graded out at 82.4 (highest rated for all offensive players on that team), and the highest of his career, surpassing the 81.0 he registered during the wildcats game against Texas last year.
