They probably realized he accomplished what he did even being handicapped by having a complete inept offensive coordinator calling the plays. The fact that he did what he did with what he had around him, namely the OC, it makes his output even that much more impressive.

Another reason to fire MESS: look at our stronger players. Out of 10 in the above list, 7 are in offense. Yet, our defense is the one that did so much better!

Daniel Green and Stubblefield would be ones that I would have liked to see get some attention as well.
