Welp, if there was any doubt about "Hypeman's" allegiance. . . . Seriously Hype, aka LuvTheBlue, one would have to be 71 years old today to have experienced more wins by KU in the K-State vs. KU rivalry. Counting a bunch of wins pre Vietnam war does not, count for much, in most peoples' minds especially when the wins came in the era of leather helmets. But whatever gets you through the night, Hype.
Best if everyone just put him on ignore.

And KU fans have added another page of complaints about their crap hole of a stadium ran by an incompetent division of the athletic department.

Taters won again. WIth a backup QB!?!?! GD it all to H3LL. If this dude Kleanman is another Snyder, I swear, we better get into the BIG so we can put that program behind us. This is getting rediculous.

Rumor is KU is losing Velton Gardner. He is already been removed from their depth chart. The 2019 recruit was their 5th highest recruit that year. If you remember, he was committed to KSU. He decommitted and committed to Texas Tech. He then decommitted from Tech and committed to KU.

3 years at KU. 127 rushes for 519 yards and 4 TD.

Both him, and Gavin Potter, were committed to KSU and ended up flipping to KU at the end while also having TTU as an option. All 3 schools were hiring a new HC. But they both went with the all flash Les Miles and so far they have been 4-20 at KU on their 2nd HC and once again rebuilding, while they could have instead been 11-14 at TTU or 15-11 at KSU with a bowl game (both of which are 3-0 this season). Both great examples of a quality decision making in picking his school.

IIRC, we have beaten KU something like 25 or 26 out of the last 30 years, and three of those KU wins were during the Ron Prince years. Beyond that period, no one really cares about how good a program used to be.
reminds me of that great joke:

how many NU fans does it take to screw in a light bulb?
we may never know... all they want to do is stand around and talk about how bright it used to be...

one. he reaches up with the bulb, puts it in the socket, and the whole world turns around him.

Problem is even if he gets it turned around, is it sustainable? Mangino turned it around, and 1 coach later it was back to garbage. All that winning he did didn't turn into more $$ for renovations either. LL isn't going to spend his career there. If he turns it around, the next guy could just as easily tank it again unless they fix the infrastructure among other things.
mangino's final year at ku, he was 1-7 in conference play. he finished 23-41. never has a coaching myth been so overstated by one season's success as mark mangino's.

What's kind of funny is that every KU coach over the last dozen years since Mangino left has been heralded as some great savior. Even now with this LL guy (whom I know almost nothing about) everyone on TV and Radio in KC is all over themselves about how great he is. That's what they said about...

Les Miles (3-18)
David Beatty (6-42)
Charlie Weis (5-22)
Turner Gil (5-19)
