#22 is being abused by being run 26 carries when the guys right on his heels have earned and deserve more than what they are getting. #22 is a national "star". He won't be when he's on the sideline half way through the season ala Marcus Lattimore when Cut and Run Spurrier ran the piss out of that kid as well. And I've not said a thing negative about hcck. I am referring to the idiot stick that is called the OC. And why are you asking "what else can be expected of #22"? I've not questioned that kid. But you are really good at hearing what you want to hear so I'm not surprised.

Oh,.....Richard. We all know the score. But thanks for playing.

This has always been the plan:

"Klieman suggested Vaughn could see as many as 25 touches per game this year."

missed in all ths 'back and forth'?

1. vegas odds had cats as the underdog. AT HOME. some folks believe Nevada's a pretty good team.
2. stanford 'did it again' today.
3. will howard probably looks a lot like Colin Klein if he'd have played 'full time' as a sophomore...
4. I love Joe Ervin. straight ahead runner. to be candid, it looks like he takes a lot more punishment than Deuce. Some backs have that wiggle and avoid the worst of collisions. I don't remember how many folks were concerned about sproles durability ... some guys are and some guys just aren't.
Redshirted in 2008, Klein played either at wide receiver or on special teams for the entire 2009 season, catching six passes for 38 yards and one touchdown. He returned to the quarterback position in 2010, earning spot duty early in the year before making his first career start against the Texas Longhorns, a game which the Wildcats won 39–14 and in which Klein rushed for 127 yards and two touchdowns; he completed only two of four attempted passes. Klein was one of two quarterbacks in the Big 12 with at least two 100-yard rushing games in the season.

I thought the coaches did an excellent job spreading the carries out yesterday, and Joe looked great out there. I can understand if people have a "work load" concern for Deuce, but we were behind last week and tied this week so, of course, he was need for a little extra work. To those pining for more Jacardia, we all see the talent on the field, but none of us see what's happening in the classroom, locker room, nor practice, so claims of "politics" seem to be based on some pretty wild assumptions.

Kit I fully agree here. Like I said during the game yesterday. If Will ran every play like he did on his last touchdown he would be a force out there. But most runs he seems so hesitant to hit the hole and go but not on that goal line run he steam rolled it just needs to focus that at the forty yard line as well....

i'm not sure how the coaches are 'abusing this kid'? you seem to have a burr. maybe hcck isn't to your liking or something. the reality is that he recruited #22. #22 was a freshman all-american. and #22 is a national star. i'm not sure what else can be expected of #22 or hcck.

Lattimore blew out his knee getting hit low.
Nothing to do with number of carries.

62 carries in 3 games. 20 per game. Not over worked. Jesus the snowflake mentality has spread to football too?

I think 20 is fine. Now, if he starts getting more than that, it might be a tad much, but 5 carries per quarter is fine imo.

No issues with # of carries Deuce gets. Starting back should get significantly more if the game is tightish. I did have some issues with him getting carries on the last drive with Cats up by 14. Get him out of there at that time. Avoid risk. Give Wright some touches at that time. Not sure if there are other reasons why he doesn't get more touches. Fumbles, grades, other. I watched his body language when Howard scored on that last drive. No celebration, no care, probably more frustration and I can understand that. I assume there's a valid reason for this lack of PT. I am surprised he is staying at KSU at least for now.
