Please, please tell me he was joking when he said he just pretended to know what the GOR was the first couple of years he was here.

Not a good look at this juncture. He might want to pick his jokes a bit better.powercat95 wrote: ↑July 29th, 2021, 7:00 pmPlease, please tell me he was joking when he said he just pretended to know what the GOR was the first couple of years he was here.

I did like his point about filling the stadium this fall, especially when OU comes to Manhattan. It's also a good look for us if other conferences are looking at potential additions down the road.
First step though is to beat Stanford. Show the folks out on the West Coast and around the country that we belong in a power conference.

I like what he said at the end about not believing the rumors. We should trust the leaders of our school to behave and act in a mature and rational way which is best for K-State. Another way to say this is to not believe the hype. The sky is not falling and we are better than many realize. Time to turn lemons into lemonade. Lets move on w/o the overbearing burden of UT & OU. This may very well be long term better for us then them. This will likely turn out as well for OU & UT as it did for NU & MU. Just play it cool and we will be fine.
