Stanford Travel Ban

Question for anyone that might know. There are a lot of people upset about K-State moving the Stanford game to Dallas and not having it in Manhattan. I don't know if this has been answered on here before, but is the California travel ban to Kansas one of the reasons or was the move before the ban happened?

I don't think the California government travel ban has anything to do with the Stanford game, does it? Stanford is not a state school.

This. Heard it doesnt affect private schools like Stanford.

Correct. And besides, Kansas and the other Big 12 states are on that ban list as well.

California banned travel to Kansas and 4 or 5 other states a few months ago due to covid, after moving the game to Dallas. Although, California has had a travel ban to Kansas since 2017 for LGBT concerns.

Just another reason id rather the Big 12 stay intact or go to the ACC as opposed to the Pac. But beggers cant be choosers.
