Huh? 10 road games. Was that the penalty for the ACC having to take them? :D

Given the recent B1G - SEC collaboration, it would behoove the Big 12 to engage the ACC in some cross conference discussions on a potential merger or at least a framework for a possible merger. Given the new 12-team CFB Playoff, it might be prudent at this juncture to seek a future alliance with the ACC than wait for the B1G-SEC behemoth to dictate the future of the CFB. At this point it's either get bigger or go home with whatever marbles you have IMO. Thoughts?

I would go even further. Enlist the support of all the rest of the FBS conferences to put up a united front against what the SEC and Big Ten are trying to do. At the very least, we can make sure that the top G5 schools still have access to the CFP in the future.

How can Cal and Stanford both play each other at the others venue? Do they play twice? Something not adding up here. Sources?

That was not correct. Stanford has 12 games, 6 home and 6 away. The away games are Syracuse, Clemson, Notre Dame,
NC St, Cal and San Jose St.

Cal also has 12 games, 7 home and 5 away. The away games are Auburn, FSU, Pittsburgh, Wake Forest and SMU
