The Chiefs backup OL are a pretty good bunch with a lot of experience from being on other teams.WIldWIllieCat wrote: ↑January 25th, 2021, 11:09 amyeah, considering the pressure TB was getting on Rodgers all day, that was a serious blow for the Chiefstmcats wrote: ↑January 25th, 2021, 11:01 ambrady's game with rodgers was really a fun watch, well-matched. patrick's not so much.
losing their left tackle will hurt the chiefs in the super bowl. but the bucs were down two safeties yesterday.
i love both qb's. hope kc wins it. but if it's the goat further cementing his gretzky, jordan, ruth, tiger-like legacy, i'm good with that as well.
KC repeat?

If the Chiefs win, would Pringle be the first KSU alumni to have 2 Super Bowl rings?
I had to look it up to find out:
Byron Pringle - LIV
Barrett Brooks - XL
Martin Gramatica - XXXVII
Damien Johnson - XXI
Nick Leckey - XLIV
Ryan Lilja - XLI
Quincy Morgan - XL
Jordy Nelson - XLV
Darren Sproles - LII
I might have missed some, like if they were injured or on a practice squad for the game. For example, Sproles was on the IR for the 2017 Eagles but he only played 3 games that year so he didn't show up in some lists because he wasn't active for the game, but he still has a ring.
But from what I can tell, yes, if the Chiefs win, Pringle will be the first 2 time SB Champion KSU alumni.

Chiefs will be tough to beat, even on the BUCS home field with few fans allowed to watch in person. The Chiefs beat the BUCS in week 12 there, but haven't lost since.
The Chiefs did drop one game to the hated Raiders & one throw-away week 17 game that meant nothing.
Should be an exciting game with 2 good offenses...

Pringle was WIDE OPEN on the pass that Mahomes over threw to Hill in the 4th, prior to hitting Kelce on 4th down. WIDE open in the middle of the EZ. Could have easily had himself a souvenir in his hands.
In a perfect world, everyone would choose hard work, morals and ethics over obscene money and fame. And everyone outside of Lowrents would be required to be a red blooded, card carrying Payhawk hater.

pringle seems to be playing a lot more lately. maybe someone is hurt? i do not follow the chiefs closely.
pringle is an excellent example of a youngster being in the depths only to lift himself to the stars through college football. remember, he had to sell bill snyder on bringing him to k-state. every time i see him play, i remember that.

Sammy Watkins has been hurt who is their #2 WR when healthy. That bumps everyone behind Hill up a spot. Pringle seems to be getting more looks then Demarcus Robinson as well, so I wouldn't be surprised to see Robinson be let go after the season.tmcats wrote: ↑January 25th, 2021, 5:18 pmpringle seems to be playing a lot more lately. maybe someone is hurt? i do not follow the chiefs closely.

I'm, of course, bias but I think Pringle could step into Watkins' role in that offense: that role being, big-physical-over-the-middle receiver that is a physical runner after the catch. To me the big difference is that Watkins is 'special' when it comes to running through contact and in traffic....whereas I don't know that Pringle is. Would do wonders for the salary cap though...

Juan Thornhill played great yesterday and finally looks to have gotten back to 100% after the ACL injury at the end of last year. In fact he was the highest rated KC defender against Buffalo and gives them another versatile safety.
Chiefs DBs are big and physical and in the playoffs refs are more inclined to allow more contact etc between wrs and dbs. Like I said before, KC doesn't turn the ball over they go back2back.

was going to say that too. Pringle seems to play with more physicality. he makes tough catches and gets tough yards. maybe because they don't respect his speed and give him as much cushion?
at any rate, it will be a tough, tough game for the chiefs. Defense will need to play an absolute GREAT game.
heading in, am hoping the media will just fawn/gush over Tom. more of this is better.
finally: Gronk hasn't really shown up lately. I'd expect he has a great game on Sunday.
If you have to be persuaded, reminded, pressured, lied to, incentivized, coerced, bullied, socially shamed, guilt-tripped, threatened, punished and criminalized...you can be absolutely certain that what is being promoted is not in your best interest

I was thinking the same thing. Watkins is always injured it seems. Pringle's hard work is paying off.WIldWIllieCat wrote: ↑January 25th, 2021, 6:20 pmI'm, of course, bias but I think Pringle could step into Watkins' role in that offense: that role being, big-physical-over-the-middle receiver that is a physical runner after the catch.
