New Transfer - Timothy Horne
Timothy (Timmy) Horne is a defensive tackle that played at Charlotte.
The 6'5", 318lb RS Senior has accounted for 101 tackles (44 solo), 2 sacks and 13.5 tackles for loss in 39 games.

With Drew Wiley reporting to be moving on, allows a experienced DT to fill that spot and play opposite Eli Huggins or adds depth if Jaylen Pickle or Robert Hentz is ready to start.

Looks like a nice pick-up in an area of need.

I really like this pickup. Talented guy with great size to eat up blockers in the run game and I'm sure he's motivated to have a big year to catch the eyes of NFL scouts.

Is Drew Wiley really moving on? Seems like conjecture as I haven't seen a quote or anything anywhere.

I think I heard on a BringontheCats podcast that he has his degree and an employment opportunity he wants to pursue. Selfishly, I'd love to see him come back. Realistically, I wish the young man the best and I have enjoyed watching him play at K-State!Opensource wrote: ↑December 27th, 2020, 11:29 amIs Drew Wiley really moving on? They are projecting him as 2nd string. Not sure if this is a good thing, or bad thing. Good thing as in it means that one of the existing players is outperforming a multi year starter from the G5 ranks, or bad thing in that Horne isn't ready for the P5 level.

This staff likes to rotate tons of players, so it really doesn't matter. All of our DTs are going to play a fair bit.

I trust ourlads much less. It just seems they take the released depth chart from the school, and in absense of that, promote the more senior members of the team. They don't seem to have a lot of insider information on every team as a KSU site, but who knows, they could be right.tmcats wrote: ↑June 16th, 2021, 1:15 pmhttps://www.ourlads.com/ncaa-football-d ... tate/90820
