Re: Who do you want as OC?
messingham had a great game, actually both coordinators.
Why is there something rather than nothing?

Let's not forget six plays and 12 yard in the first quarter.
I still have my doubts about Messingham, but, to his credit, this was arguably his best game with respect to making adjustments, compensating, etc. Unlike against ASU, we didn't keep stuburnly running up the gut in the second half - we emphasized the passing game, let Skyler sling it and we got the ball to our playmakers in space and let them make plays.
I hope he learns from this and gets better.

Both coordinators are still learning who their teams are and what they can and will do.
Mess knows his QB, but his oline is another story. He learned a lot about them yesterday.
The defense did very well, Rattler got rattled late in the game. He was on the ground a lot. The Dline did a great job. McPherson and Parker played HUGE!

Agreed. I just pray the Cats offense sticks with this more open and unpredictable game plan. It was fun to watch and kept OU off balance. Old Mo, was nice to get on their side too.Kid In the Hall wrote: ↑September 26th, 2020, 11:28 pmLet's not forget six plays and 12 yard in the first quarter.
