There is a forum appropriately named "Gods and Generals" for religious discussions. It's best to keep that separate from football discussions.

I assume the irony was that I said the forum was "appropriately" for Gods (religion) and Generals (politics) when there is a discussion that those should, or should not, be discussed together. Regardless of that argument, that is where it seems this forum indicates those discussions should be conducted as those are volatile topics that will overtake discussions about football which is what I'm trying to prevent here.

not quite. the discussion here was about coaches bringing religion to football to wit you said take it elsewhere, to g&g. the religious discussion isn't even allowed on the football forum much less the field.
