Girls swept Saint Louis. Martin came in late in the first set and played the remainder of the game. We host #24 Creighton Saturday.

KSU beat #24 Creighton 3-1. Martin started at setter. This is a big win for their tournament chances. Looks like a pretty good performance from a hitting perspective . Carter hit .449 which is outstanding for OH against a solid team. The other games are posted on k-statesports.com, so hopefully they will get this one up as well.

Have they said if the Wichita State matches are being made up? With the tourney shrinking to 32, I would imagine we might need more than just two wins against D2 Wayne State to make the tourney...

Don’t know if they are playing the WSU games. Shelby Martin might be coming back since she wasn’t recognized tonight. Archibong and Vernon were the two “seniors.”

They are shrinking even further from the already smaller 48 teams? 32 auto bids and 16 at large. I thought even at 48 KSU is on the bubble. 32 would be zero chance of them getting in.

Yikes, with Vernon/Archibong gone, KSU is down to 2 MB next season. Would expect a transfer to come if this is the case.

Yeah, my fault - had 32 in my head for some reason.

Right now, K-State is 107 in the RPI. Even with two wins against Wichita State (117 in RPI), I'd be shocked if we make the tourney. Granted, the RPI is definitely a bit wonky right now, but that still seems like too steep of a climb. The only case I can see is if the committee believes the Big 12 deserves three teams (after Texas and Baylor), but it's definitely a down year for the league.

They have added a match at Baylor on March 31. Should be in the tournament if they win that.

lost to Baylor 3-0. 26-24,25-14,25-23. Carter didn't have a good day and hitting @ -0.049.
I'm going to guess KSU won't make the tournament, but maybe I will be surprised.
