Bat Cats hosting Fairleigh Dickinson
The guys pummeled the hapless Knights 8-1, 12-1, and 20-1 for the sweep. I didn't make it this weekend but watched some of it on plus and the pitching seemed very efficient from the young group. I see that plus is streaming all of our home games which is good but the streaming quality is not.

Hard to complain about outscoring your opponent 40-3 during a 3-game series. But... FDU is bad. Really bad. In the past 15 years, they have never had a winning season. And, in 12 of those 15 seasons, they haven't won more than 20 games (average record during that stretch is about 15 wins to 35 losses each year).
Hopefully the offense momentum will carry through to the series at Stanford next week...

No FDU is not good, but if you’re trying to be one of the better teams in the big 12 this is what you should do to a team like FDU. Last year we probably struggle.
Pitching was excellent with Seymour, McCullough and Wicks.
It was good momentum and great confidence boost before heading west to play someone who is good every year in Stanford. That will be a great test for the Cats.

Good confidence series for the Cats. However, my confidence in ESPN+ is extremely low. I tried streaming it both on my home PC (100mb down/30up) and on my 4g phone, neither would play for more than a few minutes before hitting a stutter. For $5 a month, I'd hope to be able to to watch a game in decent quality.
Total side note, but if you have Hulu/Disney+/ESPN+, you can bundle them all for like $13 a month, if that'll save some $.

I watched some of the series earlier today on ESPN Plus. The stadium renovation looks nice and the wins will hopefully be a nice confidence builder going forward. It was also nice being able to fast-forward through the commercials.
