Baseball recruiting

Anyone have any info on our incoming baseball class? Did we have any commitments that were taken by the draft? Did we land any players who are projected to make big immediate impact?

Did we lose anyone on the current team to the draft that was an underclassman

Monday, September 30 was 1st official day of baseball practice....... They looked a tad rough, but there certain were a few bright spots. Don't get your hopes too high...... but in MHO this bunch of guys will be far better than past couple years! The 2 pitchers who sat out last season both appear to be good.... maybe even very good... Dyran Phillips was playing 1st base along with Terrence who played 1st last year. Both looked sharp. The catchers also looked pretty good. Most everyone was hustling... a couple of the returning pitchers who did not fair too well last season, seamed to be a bit disjointed, probably because they know their role might be limited with the new guys coming in. . The construction on the stadium makes it difficult to watch the guys practice. Visitors are allowed only in the 3rd base bleachers. But the place is going to look pretty spiffy when completed! Hopefully this ole codger can get back over there next week. T

Good article on K State Sports Extra on Baseball Team and how they are looking. Sounds like things are improving https://www.kstatesports.com/news/2019/ ... -fall.aspx
