Big win and big game tomorrow. We’re now tied with ku for 7th as TCU has taken the first two in their series. UT is idle this weekend and we’re now 2 games up on them. A win tomorrow would guarantee a spot on the B12 tournament as even if ww got swept by ku next weekend (ain’t happening) and UT swept OU next weekend, it would be a tie and we have the tie breaker over UT by taking 2 of 3 over them in Austin.

But we could improve our seed by beating Ku and OU is only one game up with another game against OSU tomorrow and then finish with 3 in Austin. And TCU is only up 2 games and has to finish the year with 3 at Tech.

Lots to play for and the guys have been playing some pretty good ball the last 19 going 12-7.

You need to look just a little closer at the numbers. UT must have had a game canceled for some reason. If we win on Sunday are swept by KU and UT sweeps OU, then we would be 9-15 and UT 9-14. UT goes, by rule, with a better win percentage.

Even in that scenario, OU could at the worst go 9-15 and they have the tiebreaker over us. This assumes they lose to OSU today and are swept by UT. Teams have been left out before because a different team had a rainout.
Win the dang day!

numbers aside, it looks right now like gene hired a good coach.

Well excuse me your highness. Yes I happened to not notice UT and Baylor had their game 3 canceled due weather earlier in the year. I dare I miss that.

I just hope the Cats can now finish off this comeback today and then go win the series against ku.

Get into the Big12 tournament and never know what might happen

Will lose some guys we’ll certainly miss at the conclusion of this year, just like most years. But he does appear to have some go young talent that will hopefully all return and also add some more to it.

Well that was a disappointing loss. Came back from a 3-1 deficit in the 7th to lead 4-3. Wicks is taken out with 110 pitches and the bullpen gives up 4 in the 8th and we lose 7-4.

So lose the series, the last home series and lose the last home game for the seniors.

So will need to go earn a conference tournament berth against the hawks.
