Baseball beats first place Bears

Post by AlabamaLane » May 5th, 2019, 3:21 pm

After dropping the first two games of the series, the Cats grabbed an early 7-0 lead vs. Baylor and eventually won 10-3 over the first place team. Freshman Wicks had another excellent start today.

It looked like a bad hour and a half may have cost them two games on Saturday. The end of the suspended game and the start of the Saturday game.
Win the dang day!

How does Baylor do it? Seems like they're pretty good in all sports. Private school in a P5 conference.

baylor's a really fine academic school. it's a pretty campus. and they hire good coaches. i watched all three games. not much separation between the two teams. k-state has some fine young freshmen pitchers.
Why is there something rather than nothing?

The honorable Kenneth Starr has presided over their transition to Rape U.

surprised they survived that episode. it shows how ethically shallow academics are in allowing baylor to continue in this league. penn state is no different. still an aau school. lol, academics.

Thanks as well wazu. They just seem to have a knack for getting quality teams. I know Mulkey is at the top but the rest of the coaches on the exterior seem to be good but nothing special. I just wondered if they were doing something special in the land of Aggies and 'whorns.

I don't think it was the "academics" that wanted Rape U to stay in the conference.
