I would generically agree, but I just don't think he pulls the trigger this season. However, Baylor totally flipped around with their hire and TTech is starting to do the same. If it does happen, KSU should go after Dawn Sullivan (Cady). She was a good assistant at ISU and did a good job here first year at UNLV posting 19-11 record. Prev season was 8-23.

wow...i guess ksu didn't get selected for the NIVC or declined. ISU is going. No Ttech, OU, or KU

I would imagine many schools declined to participate - there are some teams that made that tournament with sub .500 records.

My 12 year old great niece has been a ball shagger for the Huskers the last 2 years. The Huskers presented her with a national championship ring from last year and asked her to be a shagger for the NCAA regional this year. Pretty danged cool of the Huskers and I'm tickled pink for her. Total surprise for her and right now she's on cloud 9.

on a more positive note. Mutiri and Sandbothe got All big 12 2nd team and Mutiri got all freshman team. I"m a bit surprised that Heyne didn't get in for the all freshman team, but she probably came on too late in the season.

We too were in hopes Brooke Heyne might get on Freshman honors....... Curious why she was not put in rotation earlier? She has used her red-shirt last year, thus that was not reason to hold her back for another season! Guess that is the reason we are not coaching this team, some one else knows better than we do!

This team had a lot of seniors and I imagine that Coach wanted to give them the first opportunity but as the season went on and the play deteriorated, she decided to focus more on the future. We have a good base with our setter coming back along with Mutiri, Heyne, Sandbothe, and Williams as hitters. Does anyone have an opinion about the Carlson girl? Will she be a contributor next year? I think we are recruiting her brother who is a junior as a basketball player.

Carlson hit 0.187 last year on 524 attempts. the passing/setting last year were even more inconsistent than this year. she could be better than what she hit as freshman. It looks like she was injured sometime during the this season as she wasn't even in uniform for the games I saw on TV past the @OU. She did do the USA college team thing summer before showing up to KSU.

Good matches against Nebraska vs Illinois for semi-final and Stanford vs Nebraska for the final. If you didn't see it already, it is worth a watch.
2019 transfers starting to pick schools. KSU is very light on the DS/L (1 Sr - Webber, 1 Jr-Smith, 1 incoming Hinkle (S/DS)) and passing was a weakness last season. Interesting if they try to pick up a transfer.

OH1- Heyne
OH2- ?
MB1- Sandbothe
MB2-Williams
RS-Mutiri
S- Dixon
L- Webber/Smith/Hinkle
