This is a KSU and Macro Question for College Sports
The Arizona State AD made the controversial statement about going to Morgantown. But on a economic analysis it is financial stupidity to jet your women's VB team 2000 miles so they can play a match in front of 500 people.
I would be in favor of regionalizing all sports except Football and Men's Basketball. The sport that is open to debate is Women's Basketball.
I could see a Plains Region of
KSU
KU
Wichita State
Iowa State
Oklahoma State
Missouri State
Tulsa
Drake
Northern Iowa
Creighton
What Big XII Sports Should Be Regionalized and How?

I could easily see something like this happening in the future. I believe the Stanford and Cal to the ACC deal is just for football and men's & women's basketball. We already do something along this line with Big 12 affiliate members in sports like wrestling and rowing.WildcatEngineer wrote: ↑August 26th, 2023, 8:49 amThis is a KSU and Macro Question for College Sports
